Big LED Matrix Hourglass

An hourglass built with Trinket M0 (SAMD21 processor) and eight 8x8 red/green LED matrix displays.

In this hourglass a SAMD21 processor was used for speed. It turns out the speed is limited by the I2C bus to the displays; the SAMD21 can go much faster than the display can be updated.
