Geophone Amplifier
A geophone signal amplifier for seismic measurements. Like most geophone amplifiers, it amplifies the geophone signal by 200 to 400 times producing a signal level suitable for microprocessor input. This design includes an additional stage that integrates the raw geophone signal to provide a smoothed output that is more suitable for an indicator such as a LED.

Operation The "VAL" output is the instantaneous geophone reading, offset by the virtual ground voltage. The "REF" output is the virtual ground voltage. The "AVE" output is VAL integrated, which is suitable for an indicator output.
