Operation

To pair the RF remote with the PC volume control:

The LED will normally flash when receiving RF commands.

There are a couple of 433 MHz receiver models available. The tuned coil model has lousy range.
Lousy RF Receiver

The crystal controlled model is the one you want.
Good RF Receiver

This is a very common RF remote control, normally for use with LEDs. The only volume controls we have is up, down, and mute. So the + and - buttons (speed, mode, color, bright) control the volume. All the other buttons just toggle mute.
